ATTENTION! ATTENTION! MAY I HAVE YOUR ATIENTIONI The HOT new word for designing and selling to Baby Boomers is VISIBILITY? Globally our population is aging and in the US there will be approximately 78 million Baby Boomers age 65+ by 2025 according to the US Census Bureau this is also a global issue. So how is the US and other societies addressing these concern to accommodate the changing needs of those populations that are rapidly aging at the same time?

Notes of Interest: 

I am a residential interior designer and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). I provide curb to backyard assessments for residents to determine if their home is safe and secure so that they can make modifications to adapt to the physical changing needs of their bodies as they age.

In 2014, I became an instructor for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and teach nationally and internationally the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) Designation courses as well as Universal Design/ Build.

In 2014- NAHB named me 2014 CAPS Educator of the Year .

Currently I provide seminar to the public and continuing education seminar and courses to interior design professional, builders, remodelers and industry professionals that serves the health care market on the topic of "Aging in Place" and Universal Design.

In 2012, I published "Sensible Smart Tips for Living in Your ForeverHomeā„¢, a guidebooks that allows homeowners to walk through their home to determine if products and services are needed.
