Using Design to Breathe New Life Into An Aging Brands

Speaker:
Nancy Fire

For more than two decades, Nancy Fire has been at the epicenter of some of the world’s most exciting lifestyle trends. She has worked with leading brands and celebrities to capitalize on the emerging trends she curates to develop new product lines.

Her fine arts background, along with her focus on curation and style, has helped her look at the world of design with “eyes wide open.” Fire is gifted at adapting her sensibilities to embrace the way consumers are engaging with retail today on trend, color, and style.

Fire’s passion for design led her to start Design Works International, a lifestyle company in NYC, that serves as both a design think tank and a working studio where textiles, home furnishings, and fashion come to life. Her approach to design, coupled with her keen eye for trends, has landed her as one of the leading lifestyle and design experts in the world. Fire has designed everything from corporate showcases to museum exhibits and even celebrity product lines. Currently, she serves as Design Director for HGTV HOME, where she oversees the brand's design direction and image, while working directly with partners Bassett Furniture and Sherwin-Williams to bring consumers affordable yet on-trend home products.
