I started KDZ Designs, LLC in 2009. I am a 2006 graduate of the Masters of Interior Design program at Suffolk University-New England School of Art and Design, and made a career change after having worked in the computer industry for over 15 years.  I was the 2014-2016 President of the New England Chapter of the IFDA, 2017 Immediate Past-President, and was the winner of a design award from IFDA New England in 2010.  From 2018-2019, I am serving on the IFDA Educational Foundation Board, as Director of Grants and Scholarships.

Complete Home Interiors

I consult with my clients’ architect, builder, kitchen and/or lighting designer;  in bringing me in at the beginning of the planning for a new home or renovation project, I collaborate with clients to select finishes, materials, cabinetry, hardware, furnishings and window treatments, based on budget and any other considerations.

Single Space Design:

Regardless of room size, I work with clients to transform any outdated interior into a space that is not only eye catching, but also reflects their current lifestyle.  Specifics can include selection of all interior furnishings and finishes, window treatments, decorative lighting, and any specialty art or other design and decorative accessories.  Collaboration with clients includes sensitivity to budget concerns, inclusion of heirloom pieces that the clients may want as part of their new design, and the maintenance of visual flow from their newly designed space to other areas of their home.

I was published in the Fall of 2011, in "Living Spaces" magazine, highlighting the renovation of a 1915 Craftsman Bungalow in Western Massachusetts. The magazing link is:
