Teresa works with a broad range of clients to create warm, inviting and “comfortably elegant” interiors. For more than a decade, she has provided a full spectrum of interior design services that takes every element into consideration: use of color, layers of lighting, effective space planning, furnishings and accessories, all in the appropriate scale and balance.  


When working with a client to develop a design direction, Teresa adeptly interprets their design style. Then she attentively guides the client through the design process while respecting the budget and honoring the client’s trust. The finished project is a distinctly unique look that truly reflects the client’s lifestyle and design goals.

About Teresa Burnett

Born in Boston, Teresa is a lifelong resident of the Greater Boston area. As a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design Interior Design program, Teresa has a strong background in all design styles. Extensive travel to the cities, countryside, manor homes and museums throughout the United States, France, Italy, England, Ireland, Mexico and tropical locations continues to inspire and inform Teresa’s design aesthetic.


Teresa is Past-President of IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association), New England and served a three-year term on the IFDA National Board of Directors.  She has published articles regarding elements of interior design and her work has been profiled in numerous publications. In addition to her practice, Teresa has been involved with many business, civic and charitable associations
